East Head Winter Wildlife Walk
Join us for a gentle stroll through East Head’s new winter trail, which will take us past the salt marsh, through the sand dunes, and onto the foreshore.
Take in the beautiful scenery and learn about the Solent’s special winter wildlife while your dog enjoys some excellent sniffing opportunities!
Ranger Alice from Bird Aware Solent will talk about the Solent’s special habitats and star species, and Shona, dog specialist and Coast and Country Canines Lead, will share expert advice on how to protect these birds and habitats while enjoying enriching and fun walks with your dog.
Families and children are welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t as the Rangers will have their telescopes.
Meeting place: We will meet at the furthest end of the West Wittering beach car park, PO20 8AJ.
